WHY REACTIVATE?

 

Your PADI certification never expires and is recognised across the entire globe; but if you haven't been diving in a while, you might want to consider to refresh your SCUBA skills. It's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. Some tour operators and dive shops even require to see a recent ReActivated date on your certification card.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

​

The program has usually two components:​

​

1. Knowledge Review (Online Study) – Refresh your dive knowledge. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed.​​

2. Pool Dives – Review and practice dive skills with a PADI Professional in confined water.

3. Ocean Dives (optional) – Practice your skills in open water under the supervision of an instructor, explore dive sites and have fun.

 

During the confined water session you'll practice setting up dive gear, handle common problems, and review any scuba skills you may have forgotten.

After successfully completing both components, a PADI Diver receives a replacement certification card showing a “ReActivated” date. Divers initially certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition Cards.

We structure our ReActivate courses alongside our PADI Open Water Courses.​

Once you have purchased a course we will email you within 24hrs your PADI eLearning key-pass!  We will also contact you to introduce ourselves and answer any immediate questions about your PADI course.

 

WHY NOT UPGRADING?​

​

For another $200 you have the option to schedule Open Water dives and join us for  4 shore dives during a weekend in Bicheno. You're basically doing the full PADI Open Water course again for only $500.​ You can add the option when you book your course.​​
